Dr. Ronald
Z. Howard
Dr. Ron Howard
has been an established dentist in Northwest Ohio for over
thirty years. He moved to Toledo in the late 1950’s as a
young boy with his parents because his father had an
opportunity to become a teacher with the Toledo Public
Schools. Dr. Howard credits his father, Zack Howard, as the
individual laying the groundwork for his drive and
dedication to a chosen profession.
Dr. Howard is
a graduate of Whitmer High School. He completed his
undergraduate work at the University of Michigan and
received his dental degree from West Virginia University in
1968. He returned to the Toledo area in 1970 and began his
successful practice, after serving two years as an officer
in the United States Air Force.
He is a Fellow
in the Academy of General Dentistry, and a member of the St.
George Orthodox Cathedral where he sings in the choir.
In 1981, Dr.
Howard married his wife, Ann, a dental hygienist, and they
enjoy visiting their two grown children Alyson and her
husband, Anthony, who live in Florida and Zack who lives in
California. The Howards reside in Ottawa Lake, Michigan.
Dr. Howard
believes dentistry is a mission in excellence. Throughout
his career, he has been known to develop some of the most
beautiful smiles in the area. His fine expertise has gained
him a respected name among patients, employees and peers.
For Dr. Howard, making sure his patients receive the best in
dental health care is his top priority.
Dr. Kris
Nicholas
Dr. Kris
Nicholas has been practicing dentistry in Toledo for 11
years. He is a 1985 graduate of St. Francis De Sales High
School. He completed his undergraduate work at the
University of Toledo, where his father was a professor in
psychology. He then headed south to Ohio State University to
complete his doctorate degree. Upon graduation in 1994, Dr.
Nicholas returned to his hometown of Toledo to join Dr.
Howard’s practice.
He is a member
of St. George Orthodox Cathedral in Toledo, Ohio where his
family and Dr. Howard’s family were longtime friends. As a
young boy, Dr. Nicholas would visit Dr. Howard regularly for
his own checkups. And so it was with joy that he moved to
the other side of the dental chair in a place he had seen
grow through the years.
In 2002, Dr.
Nicholas married his wife, Cherryl, a dental hygienist, and
have four children Lucilee, Eddie, Evangeline and Gus. Dr.
Nicholas enjoys the outdoors, music, playing the saxophone
and mandolin, and creating stained glass. The Nicholas’
reside in Temperance, Michigan.
Dr. Nicholas
believes that dentistry is a calling that allows him to meet
and serve people of diverse backgrounds. He enjoys every
aspect of his work from the 3 year old at a first visit to
life changing improvements in a person’s smile. He combines
humor and kind heart while treating his patients. For Dr.
Nicholas, dentistry is not just a profession, but also a
passion.
Dr. James
Baburek
Dr. James
Baburek has been practicing dentistry in Toledo since 2003.
Dr. Baburek is a graduate of Riverside High School in
Painesville Township, Ohio. After high school, Dr. Baburek
went on the Ohio State University, where he completed both
his undergraduate degree and his doctorate degree,
graduating Magna Cum Laude and ranking 4th in his
dental class. He also graduated in the National Honorary
Fraternity, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Baburek then
traveled north to Toledo, joining Dr. Howard and Dr.
Nicholas’s practice in 2003.
In August,
2001, Dr. Baburek married his wife, Amy, a pediatric nurse
practitioner. Dr. Baburek is an avid sports fan and enjoys
working with electronics of all kinds. The Babureks’ reside
in Toledo, Ohio and recently became the proud parents of
their daughter, Alyssa.
Dr. Baburek
believes that dentistry is a profession that can provide
life-altering changes, and has wanted to provide dental
services to the public since he was 9 years old. He enjoys
all aspects of the field, and finds a deep satisfaction from
watching his patients leave his chair with a brand new
smile. For Dr. Baburek, providing the highest quality of
dentistry to all of his patients is his strongest objective.
